How your files are handled

BlurAnywhere is designed so that your files are processed entirely within your own browser. When you open an image or PDF in the editor, it is read directly into your browser's memory. No file contents are sent to a server.

When you export a redacted file, the result is generated in your browser and downloaded directly to your device. BlurAnywhere does not receive, store, or transmit your file contents.

Face detection

Auto face detection runs using a machine learning model that is loaded into your browser from a public CDN. The model processes your image locally. Image pixel data is not sent to any remote server for analysis.

What we collect

BlurAnywhere may collect standard web analytics (page views, browser type, referrer) to understand usage patterns. We do not collect, store, or process file contents, images, or documents submitted to the editor.

Important note

BlurAnywhere is a browser-based tool intended to assist with visual redaction. While it is designed to process files locally, we encourage you to review all outputs carefully before sharing. Auto detection suggestions are assistive, not guaranteed, and you should verify that all sensitive content has been appropriately protected.
